Gift #125: Farmhouse Cafe and Tea Room

Today my mother and I had a girl’s day out to Nashville, IN.  On the way down, we stopped by a knit shop in Martinsville IN and then we stopped for lunch in Bean Blossom.  Finding Farmhouse Cafe and Tea Room is a bit of a challenge, but well worth it.  The restaurant is in a home – run out of a tiny kitchen, with the seating in the living rooms and outside.  It’s lit with little crystal chandeliers and they have vintage linens on each of the tables, with fresh flowers.    It’s a charming place to eat.  The food is very good and they serve a delightful spinach dip with veggie chips that is so yummy.  Today, I had the garden lovers veggie sandwich and my mother had the chicken papaya salad.

After we ate, we enjoyed a stroll through the gardens and barns and spent some quality time with the resident tabby cat.  She is found of head pats and likes to wind herself about one’s ankles.  It was a lovely afternoon.

Blessings to you,

Sarah
