Gift #133: Apple cider

Hot, cold, or slushy, apple cider is one of the special joys of autumn.  In fact, I’m hard pressed to think of any food or beverage that feels more like fall on the tongue than apple cider.  It’s lovely amber hue and tangy sweetness perfectly capture the essence of a fall day with sunlight dancing on yellowed leaves.  Just drinking it fills me with joy as I remember and anticipate how much I love fall and all the glories in store in the months ahead.  A few of the trees have started to change into their autumn gowns and the days are cooler and full of sunshine.

Blessings to you,

Sarah
