I am in love with mushrooms. I don’t remember at what point this amorous relationship flowered, but it has been in full bloom for many years. One of my major regrets was that I did not take mycology in college. Despite not being scientifically trained in the field, and not being an expert in fungi nomenclature, I do what I can to cultivate my affection for them. This is mainly accomplished by being always on the lookout for them, doing a jig when I find one, and taking pictures of every single one. This practice did slow me down considerably on the trails at Spring Mill, but the results were well worth it. Here are some of the beauties I found at ground level.
Blessings to you,
Sarah
