Gift #164: Fall at Crown Hill

Autumn at Crown Hill Cemetery is not to be missed.  They have grand trees there; they are an arboretum as well as a cemetery, and are well known for their trees. They even give tree tours!  And many schools in the area require their students to visit as they collect and identify leaves for their collections.  Before the concert, my mom and I always go up early to walk about and take pictures.  Yesterday was perfect weather – it was cool and sunny with a bright blue sky.  The scarlet, ocher, brown, and green contrasted sharply with the azure sky and made for some stunning pictures.  I’ll share more in the coming days.

Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons. – Jim Bishop

Blessings to you,
