Gift #184: Thanksgiving Place Cards

This evening I made my big contribution to our Thanksgiving dinner – place cards.  This is one of the best jobs to have because it can be done in advance, unlike a lot of the cooking, and therefore, is less stressful.  Plus, if I mess up, it’s only paper and it can be easily redone.  We will be having a full house of family this year, including my cousin and his family.  I don’t recollect that we have ever spent Thanksgiving together, as they lived in Austin and I’m up north in Indy.  But they recently moved to Kentucky and are within easy driveable distance.  I’m excited to see them again and all our Indy family will gather together.  So here’s a peek at some of the place cards I made this evening.  They are made with various   and punches.  And look, the squirrel punch got some additional use!  The hardest part was winding the twine into bows – I’m bow-challenged.

And here’s a close-up

Blessings to you,

Sarah
