This afternoon my mom and I were able to visit Anthropologie, one of my very favorite stores. It’s been before Christmas since we were there, and I’d missed it very much. It’s a rich storehouse of inspiration with so many beautiful things to see and touch and smell. Going there always is rejuvenating and I come away with a strong desire to create, to appreciate beauty. Today I was mesmerized by color – everywhere it was jumping out at me. I loved looking at the various color combinations in fabric, plates, and home decor. How wonderful it is to live in a world with color! I especially liked two tonal shades of a color mixed with a splash of a contrasting color. I made a photo collage of some of the pictures I took at Anthropologie. These feature a popular color palette this year of teals and aqua, with navy blue, and a splash of salmon. What a beautiful, fresh combo – just perfect for spring.
