In keeping with the new tradition theme I blogged on yesterday, I’d thought I’d share another with you. Today was all about new traditions. We had decided several weeks ago that we’d like to add another mountain park to our itinerary, and have been searching for the ideal place. We settled on Three Sisters Park out in Evergreen, since it seemed to have a variety of ecosystems to explore and lots and lots of trails. Most of today was spent on the east and west Ponderosa trails as we wound through meadows and then up the mountain and down the other side. The views on this end of the park were spectacular and we were stopping every few seconds to snap a picture of another beautiful wildflower, tree, rock, or the view. It was a great time delighting in the beauty of God’s creation. Here are some pictures from the park.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth or the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. Psalm 90:2
The mountains and the hills will break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12
Blessings to you,
