On the walks through Eagle Creek Park on Friday, there was a stand of trillium blooming on the side of the path. They were lovely and we stopped for pictures. Then a little bee came to one of the blossoms and spent a long time in the flowers, picking up pollen and adding it to his store. I watched through my camera magnification lens and it was amazing to observe him gather pollen, He prowled over several flowers, stopping every once in a while to clean his antennae. He was fascinating to watch. Here’s a picture of the little bee.
Blessings to you,
Sarah
