Gift #383: summer bee

On the walks through Eagle Creek Park on Friday, there was a stand of trillium blooming on the side of the path.  They were lovely and we stopped for pictures.  Then a little bee came to one of the blossoms and spent a long time in the flowers, picking up pollen and adding it to his store.  I watched through my camera magnification lens and it was amazing to observe him gather pollen,  He prowled over several flowers, stopping every once in a while to clean his antennae.  He was fascinating to watch.
