Birthdays are wonderful days to celebrate the people we love. Well, unbirthdays are great for that too, as we well know from Alice’s trip to Wonderland. So technically every day is a great day to let the people in our lives know that we’re blessed and thankful to have them there. But today is a special day because it’s my mom’s birthday. I’m so grateful to have her in my life. She is my close friend and we’re fortunate to be able to do many things together. She’s brought much joy and love to my life and she’s been a constant encourager and friend to me. And so today I celebrate her life and the legacy that she’s given. She’s touched many, many lives with her love and care and I’m privileged to call her “mom.” Each year I make my mom a set of jewelry for her birthday. These are the pieces I created for her this year. She specifically asked for something with birds, which was not a problem since most everything I make has a bird on it! Happy Birthday Mom!
