The water lily in the back pond started to bloom this week! It’s rather late this year and I was starting to worry that it wouldn’t bloom. But a tiny bud came up a few days ago and opened into this lovely blossom. And another is on the way. It’s a Colorado lily, which came to live in the pond sheerly on the basis of its name – I had just moved from Denver and wanted the reminder of home. It’s a lovely plant that starts to blossom as a pale peach color and then matures to a deeper pink over time. I’m so thankful to be gifted with another year of lilies!
Blessings to you,
