Gift #409: Eagle Creek

Last day of Eagle Creek pictures for a while.  Tomorrow we’ll be off on new adventures.  But I did want to share a few more special memories.  During the walk, I saw these beautiful flowering bushes.  I’m not sure what they were; I’ve not seen anything quite like them to my recollection.  The bees were loving them too.

There were also wild hibiscus growing along the trail.  Though you can’t see it, there’s a little bee curled up in the bottom of this flower.

And finally, my favorite moment came as we were leaving the park.  A little fawn crossed the road in front of the car and ambled into the woods on the other side.  He was so little and still had his white spots.  I love deer so much , and this was a delightful surprise.  His mother and sibling had already crossed the road and were gazing at us through the vegetation.   What a sweet family!

Blessings to you,

Sarah
