We’re back to flowers now. I’ve been going through these photos, and found some that I had meant to share a while back, but ended up blogging about other things. So now it’s time for summer lilies to have their moments in the limelight. It probably won’t be the last. I took these pictures at our county fair grounds. They were in full bloom for the fair (coincidence? I think not!) and they were simply lovely. I am especially fond of the rose-colored lilies as they were richly colored, but in a subdued way. There was also some dill growing wild – apparently an escapee from the herb competition last year. Every time the wind rustled the leaves, the scent of dill wafted through the air and made me crave pickles!
Blessings to you,
