For as long as I can remember I’ve been fascinated with the forest floor. I love looking at the moss, mushrooms, leaves, acorns, pinecones, and other bits that decorate the ground. It’s fun to look for hidden treasures! Here are some shots of Eagle Creek at ground level.
After the hike, I saw some deer walking about. This one is also interested in the leaf litter. I think there must be a tasty morsel somewhere about….a tender shoot, no doubt. There were 3 young bucks and they were completely content to forage and look beautiful for an admiring audience.
Blessings to you,
Sarah
