In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made.. From that hand galaxies dripped into existence
That hand molded the form of man
That hand traced the currents of the oceans
That hand held back the walls of the sea
That hand stopped the mouths of lions
That tiny hand, tightly clutching his mother’s finger
That hand would heal the sick, restore sight to the blind
That hand would bless children
That hand would feed thousands with a mouthful of food
That hand would raise the dead
That hand would feel the pain of nails
From that bleeding hand forgiveness falls like rain
That hand, extended to you, to embrace you
This is the hand of God
