Gift #538: Trees by the creekbank

Since I haven’t been outside for a walk in many days, I’m going to share some more pictures from my great-aunt and uncle’s home in Austin.  I was looking through them again today and there are some very lovely trees that I wanted to share.  We’re still nestled away in our winter wonderland here.  I may try to venture forth tomorrow since the temps will warm to the mid 30s.  On Friday we’re supposed to have rain, which I’m rather sad about because it will wash the snow away and it’s so beautiful with a blanket of snow in the forest.  It’s especially lovely at night when the moonlight on the snow casts a luminescent glow; it looks almost as if the earth is glowing from within.

But I digress….  here are a few more nature pics from their property overlooking the creek.
