Well, today is card show-and-tell. It’s been super cold and snowy and I’ve not spent much time outside snapping photos. Instead I’ve been filling the evenings with reading, making cards, and knitting. Today’s collection was inspired by the winter palette of soft blues, grays, and browns. I made a set of simple birthday cards which would be good for men or women. I really like the stamp set. It is a hostess set from Stampin Up called “Simply Sketched.” It contains the three stamps featured here (bird, flower, and branch) as well as a few different sentiments. Quite a versatile set, I especially like the fact that the images look great on their own without much coloring. I’ve always been a fan of nature sketches. Hope you enjoy!
