Look what lovely surprise greeted me as I came home from work!
The little crocuses from last year are blooming in celebration of spring. They’ve finally woken up, having been kissed by the sunshine and coaxed up from their slumbering bulbs.
I was so delighted that they chose to make their appearance right on the vernal equinox. What a beautiful gift for the season in which we celebrate the renewal of life and hope.
