Today our weather gave us what can only be politely termed “a setback” in the progression of winter to spring. We stayed below freezing most of the day and had lots of flurries. Fortunately there was no snow accumulation, but it was enough to suck the life right out of me today. I have a deep dependence on sunlight, and going without sunshine for more than 48 hours makes me a little crazy and a lot depressed. So, since I can’t force spring to come outside, I made bright and happy cards instead. I used a palette of lime green and hot pink, infused with flowers and butterflies. Turns out to be a perfect recipe for the winter blues. (Sounds like I’m describing a tea!) Hope you enjoy them too!

Blessings to you,
