Today was “World Cardmaking Day”. Did you know there was such a thing? I was informed of it this morning courtesy of an email releasing new stamps in honor of the day. Well, with such a day as this, nothing will do but to make cards. Very conveniently, it was also my stamp group’s meeting today.. Hmm… I wonder… About every 6 weeks our group meets together for some stamping and cardmaking, socializing, and snacking (usually on chocolate). Our fearless leader always has a nice assortment of crafts for us to try. Today’s meeting was all about fall and we made a clever Halloween party favor, a three-dimensional paper pumpkin, and a great thank you card. I’m thinking about pirating the design for my Thanksgiving cards this year. But it would be great for any reason to give thanks.
For example,
Today I’m thankful for pumpkins.
And for birds.
And for falling leaves.
