Ok yes, I do realize that the title of this post sounds suspiciously like it came from “The Grinch who Stole Christmas”. The Grinch discovers that Christmas can come without ribbons and tags, boxes and bags. And that is a very important truth. And while ultimate joy in Christmas is not found in the wrappings, it is still fun to enjoy the trimmings and trappings and be grateful for the light and color they bring to our homes and celebrations. Each year I look forward to seeing the gift bags and wrapping paper. And oh, happy day!!! This year there lots of woodland animals, which I adore. And mushrooms!! Which I also love! They stylized print and graphic colors lend a playful, retro air to them. I bought a few for gift-giving this year, but I also think they would be neat cut out and matted in frames as festive home decor.
Blessings to you,
Sarah
