Happy 1st of October! It’s the start of my favorite month of the year! We’ll celebrate by admiring some leaves touched with the colors of autumn. The foliage has been changing here – slowly but surely, each day there’s a bit more. These were taken from my backyard. The forest in the back has a few patches of color, and leaves from the very tops of the trees come floating downwards in a slow spiral before settling into the grass. It’s a beautiful sight. Now that autumn’s glory is right upon us, you can expect lots of pictures of the trees and pumpkins. After all, that’s what October is for!
“October is the fallen leaf, but it is also a wider horizon more clearly seen. It is the distant hills once more in sight, and the enduring constellations above them once again” Hal Borland
Blessings to you,

Such beautiful colors, especially against the grass. Yes, it is nice to be able to see the sky again. Cheers! WG
